About Me
I am a 30 year resident of Nashville. Accounting was my undergraduate and graduate major with a concentration in tax. In addition to my experience in public accounting I have been employed by several of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. During that period I worked, behind the scenes, with other financial advisors, designing strategies to solve their clients’ problems. In other words I was the advisor to the advisors.

Using the skill set, knowledge, and experience I’ve acquired in nearly 30 years of practice my mission is to provide businesses, business owners, and families assistance in developing and implementing strategies aimed at achieving their established goals, protecting their financial assets, minimizing their tax exposure, and living their dreams. My personal objective is to become a lifetime resource for each and every client.
About My Business
I work with individuals and businesses. For business I provide accounting and bookkeeping services, payroll, and all tax filings. I advise on Exit Strategies, Pensions Alternatives, and Owner/Key Employee Incentive Strategies. For individuals I prepare all federal and state tax returns. Additionally I develop and review Wealth Transfer Strategies, Retirement Income Strategies, Estate Conservation Strategies, Charitable Giving Strategies, and Asset Protection Strategies. The goal is to identify areas my clients can reduce their tax liabilities and increase their cash flow.

But the very first thing I look for is the problem. That's what I do differently from many advisors or consultants today. I don't carry around a bag of solutions looking for a problem. Instead I'm concerned with "do we have a problem?" and then "do you want to solve it?" Only when the answer is Yes to both questions do I begin to formulate solutions.
What do you need next? (include today's date)
January 10, 2012:

What I need is:

1) The lifeblood of any business; new clients
2) A network of other professionals willing to actively refer me to their own clients or identified prospects
3) A network of other professionals willing to share with me their own value prop and teach me how to identify prospects for them
4) A network of other professionals willing to share business successes, how they did it, what worked and what didn't, best practices, etc.
